How the Commission Process Works
Step 1: Share Your Vision
Tell us what you're imagining. Your words, colours, style, dimensions, materials - the more detail, the better. We'll discuss your ideas, your space, and your inspiration during an initial consultation via email or contact form. If you’re not entirely sure what you’d like you can still get in touch, I'm more than happy to discuss ideas until we find the direction that fits.
Step 2: I’ll Design It
I’ll create a custom design based on your brief and mock-up for your approval. This is your chance to see exactly what will be painted before we begin. We'll refine it until it's perfect.
Step 3: Hand-Painted with Care
Once approved, your piece moves into the studio. Using traditional gilding techniques and genuine 23ct gold leaf, we hand-paint every detail. This is where the magic happens - careful brushwork, layered colours, and that signature lustrous gold finish.
Step 4: Delivered, Ready to Hang
Your finished commission arrives beautifully framed and ready to hang. We'll also include care instructions so your piece stays stunning for years to come.
Commission Pricing
Every commission is bespoke, so pricing depends on size, complexity, and materials within your piece. I’ll let you know this upfront at the beginning of your enquiry and can often quote for a range of sizes to suit.
Timeline & Turnaround
I typically complete commissions within 3–6 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of your design. This includes:
Initial consultation and design discussion
Custom mock-up creation and approval
Hand-painting and finishing
Framing and careful packaging
Delivery to your door

Materials: I work with genuine 23ct gold leaf, oil enamels, high-quality glass, and solid wood frames.

Shipping: I carefully package all commissions and ship across the UK. International shipping available on smaller pieces - please enquire.
